Miri, a city in the Borneo island, our first wedding shoot there, was indeed an awesome experience for the GregsVideo team!
The groom, Vincent, a director in Shin Yang Group, and the bride, Joanie an IT expert, met each other while they were studying at Curtin University-Perth. From uni friends to lover, and now-a wedded husband and wife.
They were solemnised at the church near here in Miri, one of the largest city in the state of Sarawak-Malaysia, on the 29th. Sept 2009.
I met Joanie about a year ago, when she dropped by to our showroom for a preview of our work. And, the next thing I know, I was flown over to Miri, to meet the man himself-Vincent for a heart to heart chat on what we, the GregsVideo team can do for them on their special day, as Vincent could not meet me in KL with his tight schedule.
He took a day off on that day to personally meet me, and also for the 3 of us to get to know each other. I was toured around Miri, and were also brought around to some best local cuisine to dine. We chat and chat and chat, all about ideas and dreams that can be made, on their one and only wedding day…. something special, uniquely different, and most importantly memorable!
It was a great trip, as its my first trip there. I managed to get the whole imagination of the wedding, the places that I will be filming, and also, who the couple really are that we will be filming on that day! And, to describe about the couple-Vincent & Joanie, all i have to say is that-they are an awesome, sweet loving couple! I m just so glad that we did it for them! So glad!
This is the highlights video of the wedding, that was premiered on the same day at the dinner reception where some 1000 guests attended the reception that was held in Imperial Hotel!
We will be writing more story bout this wedding with some behind the scenes photos in here
Please upload HD video fully before watching! Enjoy!

This is a special edition highlight video that we have created for Adrian & Racheal, who had their blissful wedding in March earlier this year, in Melbourne Australia.
The couple had their tea ceremony session here in Malaysia on the 4th of July. And, this video shows both the Church wedding & the Chinese customary tea ceremony session with the theme ‘Twilight’
They also had a reception for the friends and family here on 5th of July with some 500 guests, and this exact highlight video was premiered for the first time live in Centro Ballroom.
Once again, we bring you back… Adrian & Racheal!
Please upload video fully before watching and do leave your comments! TQ
Heaven Sent…was the exact same words uttered by the groom, Raja! He said to me that day, in my showroom, “Heh, Greg! This girl, Malar, that I m marrying to, is heaven sent!”
Raja & Malar, were both solemnized at the Sri Sundararaja Perumal Devasthanam Temple on 3rd. July 2009, in Klang, Selangor. This is the highlights video of the their Hindu wedding ceremony, that was edited and put together on the same day of their wedding, and was premiered live in PJ Hilton at the reception.
It’s a tough edit though, as, both the location of the shoots and the location of the hotel for us to do the edit were far apart, and both places are at high traffic zones! But, nevertheless, with hard work and determination from the entire crew, and when all team members playing their own role, we managed to successfully make it happen once again!
Here is the lovely special edition SDE highlights video of the king! ‘Raja & Malar’
Please upload HD video fully before watching. Thank you!

This is another extremely fun filled wedding. We are just so blessed to be part of this wedding of Balbir & Sharuna. Balbir a punjabi, from Ipoh, and Sharuna a sindhi, born in spain now living in Mexico, were solemnised on the 6th of June, in a Gurdwara in Greentown.
Both the groom & the bride, had their Sangeet celebrations on 2 separate days before the punjabi wedding ceremony. The next day after their wedding, a reception was held in Impiana Casuarina hotel for their friends and families where this video was premiered for the first time to some 350 guests from at least 14 different countries around the world!
We really enjoyed ourselves every bits of it, attended both the Sangeets, an eye opening for us, as its our first Sindhi Sangeet experience.
Our heartfelt thanks to both the couple and their family members, wonderful people, thanks a lot for your hospitality throughout our 5 days stay here in Ipoh! Hope you have enjoyed our presence as well, and the whole GregsVideo experience.
Here it is, your wedding highlights video that was inspired since the day we met some 10 months ago! Enjoy…
Please be patience and upload HD video fully before watching. Kindly do leave your comments too! TQ
It was about almost a year ago…when Cheryl, from Perth, sent me an email, asking if we are able to produce a MTV video for her. And, with emails after emails, MSN after MSN, discussion after discussion on the concept and storyline, have finally lead us till today! From her wedding gown, to her pre-wedding shoot, then, her wedding planning, …etc..etc, and a day before her wedding, she had fallen sick, and was admitted to the hospital. This was really a nightmare for a bride but, also terrifying for us, as we were not only handling her video, but every single thing of her entire wedding, to her romeo…William!
So, after much discussion with both the families, decision was to carry on with the tradition Chinese ceremony, followed by the registration of marriage and the Baha’i wedding ceremony as well. And, reception postponed to the following week. Here, is the highlights video of the wedding that was held on the 9th.May 2009, and was premiered live on the 15th.May 2009, in Concord Hotel, KL.
Kindly be patience and upload HD video fully before viewing. We know its slow, but, its worth the wait!
Significantz Touch Presents to you….A Love Story of William & Cheryl!
Same day edit, highlights of the wedding of Khang Farn & Fren Hsi. 25th. April 2009! 1st GregsVideo wedding in Penang Island!
This is definately another one of the best couple that we have worked with so far. Before coming to Penang to do this shoot, we came to this beautiful island twice. And, during our last trip there, we had dinner in Gurney drive!
And, we felt that Gurney drive would be the place we wanna do a shoot for the 1st. couple from here, and this wonderful couple, Khang farn & Fren Hsi, were the first couple…to feel the real GregsVideo experience!
Besides that, we also felt that ‘mamak’ or nasi kandar’ is also another romantic story that anyone can relate to in Penang. The sea, the ferry, the budhhist temple etc are the many things that one can share a romantic story about…and, of cos, the amazing FOOD!
Those are also the many places that we realise many love birds hang out and some how have a story to relate to! This video has its own character, and its a more jovial n happy type of vid, n its also inspired by slumdog millionaire movie especially at the dancing part. This vid also speaks out a lot of the character of the couple. Its a vid of the couple n for the couple!
And, thats how this first wedding video ever produced here in Penang tells it all in Khang Farn & Fren Hsi wedding (tea ceremony) that was held on the 25th.April 2009.
Video was premiered on the same night at the reception in TRADERS Hotel.
PLease upload video fully video viewing! Enjoy viewing and do leave your comments!
Love is a many splendid things, and one of it is this! Suren & Prem are a very loving & romantic couple, and very cute indeed. I got to know them even better when we were discussing many things on the program of the entire wedding so that I can better plan my shoot. And, little that I know that they were match made. I was surprised! I was like… what! Are you serious…? No way! I mean, I have seen many match made couples but not this kind. And, usually, they are the very shy and quiet type. But, this couple is different! Then, I m also surprise, a guy like Suren, how can he be match made..?
So, this was the question that I have in my mind that I never dare to ask them,… ‘Why? Why match made?’
And, when their wedding came, I really said to myself, that I really need to find out the answer to my question and I m sure many people do want to know as well. So happen that Suren & Prem were in the VIP waiting room before the grand march in to the ballroom, I wasted no time and interview them on the secret of their love to each other! And, here it is, the video of their dinner highlights and a story of ‘Match made in Heaven’
It is through fate and good luck (with the help of worthy recommendation) that I’ve found Greg. From the first day we met, my husband and I have admired his professionalism (though he was a bit shy at first, but boy when Greg eases up, there’s no holding back!). Ok maybe he wasn’t shy, it could be the fact that he had landed in Melbourne early morning after a long haul flight and without proper rest, headed straight to the city just to meet up with me. If that’s not bad enough I made him walked 5 blocks to a café, only because he demanded for chocolate. See? I told you he doesn’t hold back! J. Ok ok, I was just testing his fitness level because I needed to see how well can Greg keep up with my pace under pressure since at that time he could potentially be filming my wedding.
Jokes aside, Greg is undeniably passionate about his work, so much that you could see it in his eyes and feel it through his words. If you are not convinced, he’s armed with concrete proofs: his incredible videos. Yes, every videographer speaks of their passion and achievements but believe me, I have heard lots and lots of these, time and time again from my interviews with numerous wedding suppliers but Greg is different. What really made Greg stood out from the rest is his emphasis on personal touch which is a rare find. I say that Greg is a rare find because his works are all about you and your fiance, being the bride and the groom. It is nothing but just you and you, your personality, your vision, your aim, and most importantly your wedding. Which is why I know I had to change my mind by cancelling the videographer that I have initially hired 13 months in advance in Melbourneto take Greg onboard at a very short notice. As it turned out, it is the best decision I’ve ever made, one that I know I wouldn’t regret. Greg, it was an honour to have you as our wedding videographer.
Upon a very relaxed first meeting (which I can guarantee), Greg takes all your ideas back with him, stew in it for months, goes absolutely bonkers with his imagination, incorporates his creativity and then come back to you with the most brilliant idea, EVER! Oh don’t forget, in the mean time Greg will make an effort to really know you. If you would like to get on his good side, he loves Belgian Waffles!
You can be rest assured that Greg goes beyond capturing your precious moments. In my opinion, his immaculate attention to detail is really the essence of all his great videos. I have long been a fan of his works, waaaaaayyyyyy before I even met him and what I love to do each time I see his video is to look for little hidden surprises that only happen in that brink of moment, so small that they are often neglected by many but they will never escape Greg’s eagle eyes. Trust me, these little things you see, are the things that will blow you and others away – they are magical! They are truly the key ingredients that make every video so personalised, unique and different. One example is my bad habit of swinging my legs when I’m excited. Naturally, when my make up artist was changing her brush I did a little leg swing because I was getting beautified and married soon and there is nothing in the world that I could be more excited about than this. The “eagle-eyes” of Greg obviously caught this, then put that footage in the video and when I saw it, I gave it a big chuckle. I know my mom would say ‘Hiyah girl… I told you not to swing your legs like that already… see laa.. it’s now in your wedding video!’. But I’m sure she laughed at that scene too.
What Greg could have done during our first meeting was perhaps warn me that his services do come hand in hand with a big consequence. Crying. I have not known anyone that can make me cry that many times in my life! Yes, I know I know, I have been crying watching his other videos for other couples because they are emotionally well captured, but when it comes to mine it hit me so so hard – I was sobbing! Even my macho husband teared. Greg, I demand complimentary tissues!!!!
Last but not the least, Greg is exceptionally good with song choice. Even if you already have your song in mind, please just leave the songs to Greg because his pick is the best. Think of it this way, he’s planned your footage months ahead, he’s filmed your wedding all day, edited your entire video, it’s a tiring and lengthy process both physically and mentally so you really do not want to spoil it with a song that doesn’t match your video. Your favourite songs can still be used for other scenes in the long version. He wins, you win, everyone’s a winner!
I know this is starting to sound like I’ve been paid to write (much as I wished)… but I am just doing this out of my own free will. Good things are meant to be shared and as a new bride, all I can say is your wedding ceremony only lasts a day. And that ONE day which you’ve spend months and months planning will just fly by without you even knowing. I must let you know how great the feeling is to have something so beautiful that can remind you of the happiest day of your life after the event. All because you will miss it so much but the only thing that you can do is wishing it was just a little bit longer. I now have the comfort of revisiting the whole of my wedding event again and again as many times as I like. Memories like that are priceless!
If I had a genie and was granted a wish to re-live one day, any day of my life, I will pick my wedding day. Unfortunately, genie ain’t real. Luckily, we all have Greg!
Greg, Adrian and I sincerely thank you for everything you’ve done for us. We also like to thank you for keeping me sane in the morning of my wedding and even extended a helping hand with my baggages when my bridesmaids were busy dolling themselves up. Special thanks to your team at GregsVideo, we know they’ve worked real hard. Thanks for giving us something so memorable. We’ve shown the video to nearly everyone we know and they absolutely loved it!!! Thanks for being such a great friend too! You know Greg, we probably can never thank you enough…
We wish you all the best in the future and may you fulfill your dreams and enjoy the fruits of your achievements. Keep making awesome GregsVideos!!!
Here it is, the highlights video of the sweet wedding of Adrian & Racheal. Previously, we had the trailer to this amazing wedding, now, its the highlights, and soon, we will have clips from the full version of the video.
The full version of the video are usually not shared online, but, we felt that the video of the wedding is so interesting that by not sharing it, will be such a big waste.
So, do enjoy watching this highlights, take a look closely of the many clips and scenes that were not shown at the trailer.
We received numerous complaints about video palying on vimeo, that the loading time takes a while, but, well, the quality of vimeo compared to Youtube is a lot better. So, I urge everyone that is experiencing slow internet streaming, to be patience and upload video fully before watching it.
This was the part where the groom and the bride got to set up the whole…the guy on the phone was the groom, the one standing in the middle with a badge top was the maid of honour, Ms. Rita, she too had to help out on the arranging of chairs and tables… but, she really look confused when this photo was taken. Standing at the other corner was Venesa the bride…she was the chief and basically giving instruction to all of us to where everything was suppose to be…Her way!
This time its like almost 8pm, and the wedding was the next day…everythings need to be done on the night itself…outside the hall, it was like freaking cold..! I had to go out & pack some burgers to fill all of our stomach!
The backdrop deco…needed some fairy lights to make it more like an party or event feel..! The guy going up on the ladder was his brother Dave! Beside him was his gal-fren, and the guy on white t was Venesa’s brother! All have had their hands in making this wedding a memorable one!
Finally i m back with some burgers and fries..!!! Looking at the picture now…and writing about it…really makes me feel like having some burger now..!!! hehehe. Anyways, back to the story..!
So..now, this was like about midnight…after all of the work done at the venue hall, back to the house, this couple was trying out the recipe to create a fantastic fruit punch..! here again… D.I.Y! U got skill..? u can survive in Australia!
The test begin..!
tada…!!!! the two coloured layer mocktail, or cocktail, fruit punch…whichever u name it..! it was awesome!
2nd day..after some nice english breakfast at Pooven’s (the groom to be) house, he brought me out for some city tour!
Along the way..walking thru the town…some big crowd watching a Bollywood movie shoot taking place!
Camera ready? Roll…and ACTION!
Thats the gal with a cap…the Bollywood star!
Nice buildings every where, every corner…really a good place for pre-wedding photo shoots! After walking and walking…well, its time for some food..!!!! Huh..! what else..chocolate lah….!!!! So, Max Brenner is the place to go!
Banana in Crepes..with ice cream..! Can u imagine..eating ice cream when the wheather is already cold..? its amazing!
Fruiti Waffle! Fantastic stuff..!!!! The best waffle i have ever eaten ..in my life so far..!
Clean..!!!! Nothing is left! This is how good it was..!!! Then, after a few more kilometres of walking around the city. Back to Pooven’s cousin’s house. Thats where we gather for a barbecue cum pre-wedding family fellowship.
At the back of the house…there is a swimming pool..! Nice & a big house though… So, these 2 guys, standing next to me…were in charge of the barbecueing of the sausages, lamp and chicken!
Those 2 guys i mentioned earlier..were resposible for this! :0 But, if when you peel off the skin of the chicken…the taste of the meat is heaven..! Seriously…, heaven is on earth..!
There u have the lamp chop..!!! another amazing stuff..!!! Killer!
The sausages..!!! ooh..!!!!!
Couple with a few more dishes like this rice..Persian style, the takdic..is a potato crush thingy! Another killer! After the heavy meal….bread, curry chicken, salad, etc etc…what else..? Dessert time!
This is Pooven’s cousin, Amelia…she was the host, and she is preparing her special dessert to serve to all the guest.
Australian ice cream again..!! The ice cream is different and very creamy..!
The bride to be..Venessa, helping out preparing the special dessert for everyone..!
Ice cream, mango and couple with this waffle crisps……and wala…u get this!
Isnt that great..? Not finish yet..!
After heavy dinner..then, dessert, then, here comes the Tea.!
Amazing Persian tea! Great taste! Not finished!
The tea have to be couple with a home made cake. This cake was baked my Amelia’s mum!
There you go..!!!! Tea and cake..!!!!
After all of that…all you can do next is seat down beside this firewood to warm u up…cos u basically cant move after the heavy meals..!!!! Hehehe! This picture….everything is real…the barbecue guy, the fire/gas…..except the firewood in there..! Cool right!
All of the above….have been simply great and fantastic…amazing time i had..and all thanks to this beautiful couple…that will be wed this saturday..’Pooven & Vennesa’
Just one day…after i touch down to Melbourne Victoria international airport..! I was chaffeured back to my saturday’s couple’s house…
Then,…changed and straight to the City Centre..and meet up with Racheal & her fiance Adrian! Racheal had earlier emailed me that she wanted to hire us to be their official wedding videographer. And, now that I m there in Melbourne, so, we have arranged a meet up to discuss in details of her wedding plans.
This is us…at a very nice and cozy australian bar, drinking and in deep serious discussion about the entire wedding and sharing ideas on how we can make the wedding to be different and unique! After 2 hours there…then, we proceed for dinner and we had Pasta & firewood Pizza and plus wine. There we were chatting and eating till midnight! And, just for the 1st day and the first time..with these beautiful and cute couple..very frenly and very hospitable…the next day, i received my to do list from Racheal…my Melbourne official tour guidees! Below is the to do list from her… Might help to those who are visiting Melbourne!
Makan & Minum
Koko Black - I think this is the chocolate cafe you mentioned yesterday. I’m not a chocolate fan, but my friends who are fanatics are absolutely in love with it! There are a Koko Black in Melbourne ie Bourke Street , Collins Street , Lygon and etc…
Max Brenner - Another chocolate cafe. I brought you guys there yesterday but it was jam packed. But as I’ve said, I highly recommend this place.
Best coffee - An Italian coffee place named Pellegrini’s on Bourke Street . Very old school and authentic. I love coffee, so trust me on this. My favourite, Long Black
Vietnamese beef noodle soup - Footscray. Make no mistake.
Osyter – very very very VERY cheap and fresh. Go to any market and ask them to open fresh ones for you!
Souvlaki (greek cuisine) - Stalactites on Lonsdale street . (beware of portion size, very BIG!)
Best steak you will ever eat - Squires Loft, on Goldie Place , (must order sauce, it does not come with the steak. my recommendation: creamy garlic sauce.) must try their ribs too! Just make sure you make reservation early, especially on weekend
Jalan-jalan
Crown Casino – gambling aside, there is lots to do.. café, cakes, view, (I work very close to Crown too)
Botanical garden – great photography spot
Iconic buildings – St Patrick Cathedral, Flinders Station, graffiti walls (amazing work, but hidden in an alley between Elizabeth and Swanston Street ), Crown, Southbank bridge, State Library
Bourke Street – hot shopping street, look out for street performers some are really good
Museum, National Art Gallery
Victoria Market - fresh fruits (cherry season now, so grab some fresh cherries, very nice! Mangoes, dragonfruit, kiwis, peaches all very cheap here) and souvenirs
Wine Bar
Jwow
Supper Club
Bars and pubs
I know plenty, but the good ones are hidden in the alleyways, and it’s very difficult to give you direction.. just gimme a buzz and I’ll be more than happy to take you there
Club
Too old. Retired.
Day Tours (just to go any tour booth to book, they are on Swanston Street )
Grampians/Great Ocean Road - Great photography opportunity
Wine Tasting tour (the last time I was on this tour, I was so damn mabuk)
I think these should keep you busy ler. If you need tour guide, don’t hesistate, just gimme a buzz k. I am the queen of Melbourne city (well, I did live in the city for 3 years before moving out to suburb!!)
