It was all about wedding, love, friendship, the fellowship, happiness, wonderful people, the cool weather, the beautiful city, and of cause, most essentially for me was the FOOD! Greg is always with food food and more food where ever he goes said the bride!
This is what I really like about my job, even though I have been filming weddings for the past donkey years now. I was asked during at one of the dinners which I had with the bride’s family: Greg, are you not bored with weddings? It’s really an out of the ordinary question as I myself have never reflected about it before. I ponder for a moment before I could answer that question. No, not at all…! I answered.
Every wedding is different, and for the many weddings that I had been to, till today, I can say, it has never been the alike. I meet different people all the time, the diverse cultural and religious background, and all of it has its own beautiful tale of story and breathtaking moments. Apart from that, I always learn a thing or two after every wedding that I have been to. This actually has made me to become better and better each time, and inspired me to achieve greater things and go beyond the boundaries. Below are some of the many interesting accounts of our trip!
The beautiful city of Melbourne. After some walk in the city, first stop was….
Shanghai Dumplings! You can practically get all the best asian food in Melbourne!
Saw the plates? We ordered like some 35 dumplings for 5 people! And, we finished all of it! Then, we travelled to the church, St. Mary star of the sea for the rehearsal.
Collis, the 2nd videographer was doing a test shot at the church!
That is Father Ed, giving intructions to the best man-greg and the father of the bride-Mr. William!
That was the groom, Adrian giving the cue to the groomsmen, and bridesmaid! After all that…what else..? Time for dinner! Vietnam we go..!
Look at that..? Fried seafood crispy noodle. Vietnamese. The next day, I made a trip to the city and meet up with Will & Cheryl. They came from Perth and they will be getting married this May in Malaysia.
We discussed many things about the wedding as I m handling the entire wedding planning and management for their wedding in Malaysia.
This is me, and my brother! Then, comes the wedding day of Racheal & Adrian, we were so busy till we didnt even shoot any photos of ourselves during the wedding.
This was the day after the wedding. We were back to the city, as we didnt want to miss the holiday excitement all around the city as it was a Labour Day. Not only that, there were also, the Moomba Waterfest that was taking place along Yarra River.
Yarra River!
Moomba festival is a yearly event and the city was pack with tourist and locals!
This was the scene along Yarra River.
Not sure if I m daringly enough to take this ride or not! Then, I was again invited for a post wedding dinner with the family.
This time, it was Thai Cuisine! The best in town!
Look at that..?
Guess what..? Ox tongue! Can you believe it..? I was really over fed my the couple, Adrian and Racheal. Really had so much fun being with the family too. Couldn’t thank Racheal enough for arranging all this for me and my brother.
This is Racheal, 2nd day after the wedding at 10am!
Before the saying goodbye photo! The guy in red is Racheal’s elder brother and his wife were so friendly, we had so much fun together and they have basically made the entire trip fun and was filled with so much laughter, jokes, and tease!
We will like to thank the entire family of the bride and groom for the hospitality showered upon us!
