We had a great 2 weeks of fun and party..! 1st it was the Punjabi week, that was filled with several events, then, the following week, we had the Hindu Gujerati Wedding Ceremonies.I have to say that we really had a great fun of 2 weeks filming this wedding of Shamil & Nirmal! It was indeed our first to experience the full traditional ceremonies of the Punjabi Wedding, and also, our first to have witnessed and experience the full Gujerati wedding ceremonies! Lots of meaningful ceremonies, the maiya, the sangeet, prayers, blessings, the holy matrimony, the dancing, and the reception!
This highlight also shows of the unity of 2 great religion and culture coming together in marriage! With peace, lots of love, and harmony..! It was presented live in J.W. Marriot on 19th.Dec 2009, where some 600 guests attended the reception.
It was indeed a difficult edit to do, as we needed to blend this to great wedding ceremonies together with a storyline and also the flow..!
