This is their 1st valentine together & not only that, their first time celebrating Pravin’s birthday as husband & wife.
We did their entire valentine day itinerary from exclusive hotel room (The Majestic Hotel,Malacca)
to the best local cuisine of Malacca.
They celebrated their valentine day at Malacca.

Srihari & Li-Hsian got married on the 30th & 31st of January 2010.
Would you like to know what was special about this wedding? It was a mix-cultured wedding which also means…
Srihari comes from a Brahmin background & Li-Hsian a Chinese background…Both of them had 2 different cultural ceremonies…first their Chinese Tea ceremony on the 30th of January at KL Hilton and the next day, 31st January,2010 the Brahmin ceremony at Raja Rajeswari Temple, Ampang.
And this is what we call cultural bliss…colorful yet so meaningful! There was no specific theme for the wedding but both the families did dress traditionally for each ceremony. The decorations depicted Saree ribbons, Chinese lanterns, “Ganesha” chants (related to Indian culture) & the invitations had a motive of Chinese “double happiness” and the Indian “Ohm” character.
We were also touched with the ambiance Hooi Joo from Table 10 created on that day. Table 10 was the wedding planner of this wedding. Table 10, specializes in planning weddings especially large scale dinner receptions at premier hotels. Hooi Joo has been in this industry for the past 10 years… & Table 10 was launched in since 2004.

The reception night was on the 31st of January, 2010 at KL Hilton. Love is when Srihari looks into Li-Hsian’s eyes and sees his heart.

We had a fantastic 2009, though we had our ups n downs,
with the most difficult moment when our office was broken in. But, overall, we had an AWESOME YEAR!
We traveled learning various different cultures, we moved, we captured, we created,
& we designed…constantly having the fire of passion burning..!

The event started with the Sangeet which was on the 17-12-2009 with IMRAN KHAN(UK’s Top Bhangra Singer) performing live. On the 19-12-2009, the wedding ceremony took place at the Klang Gurudwara & followed by lunch at the Crown Princess Hotel.
It was an amazing wedding…top bhangra singers to top djs from United Kingdom & India performed during the Sangeet & the reception too.

We had a great 2 weeks of fun and party..! 1st it was the Punjabi week, that was filled with several events, then, the following week, we had the Hindu Gujerati Wedding Ceremonies.I have to say that we really had a great fun of 2 weeks filming this wedding of Shamil & Nirmal! It was indeed our first to experience the full traditional ceremonies of the Punjabi Wedding, and also, our first to have witnessed and experience the full Gujerati wedding ceremonies! Lots of meaningful ceremonies, the maiya, the sangeet, prayers, blessings, the holy matrimony, the dancing, and the reception!
This highlight also shows of the unity of 2 great religion and culture coming together in marriage! With peace, lots of love, and harmony..! It was presented live in J.W. Marriot on 19th.Dec 2009, where some 600 guests attended the reception.
It was indeed a difficult edit to do, as we needed to blend this to great wedding ceremonies together with a storyline and also the flow..!
Earlier this year, we had, the wedding of Suresh & Rubini, entitled ‘The Arisen’, and now, its ‘The Return’
The bride, Ghandini, is the youngest sister of Rubini, and, the groom-Jaidev, a Brahmin, was solemnised on the 29th. November 2009, in a traditional Palghat Brahmin Wedding Ceremony.
Its our first Brahmin wedding shoot, and I have to say it is extremely unique and an eye opener for us! This holy wedding consist of traditional rituals and everyone of it has its significantz meaning and the Kanyadan or the gift of a girl in marriage is equal to a gift to a God.
This is the highlights of the wedding that we filmed from 6am to 2pm!
Vanilla Twilight by Owl City. Its not the New Moon Twilight but, its due to the saga, meantime we have vanilla twilight instead! A sweeter and calmer version of the saga!
Alan & Yuen, had their Chinese Wedding Tea Ceremony here in Mont Kiara, KL, on the 21st. November 2009. Reception dinner was held the next day in One World Hotel. It was a super fun wedding to film..! Alan, a really happy go lucky guy…and Yuen, the lovely bride, whom he dated for 7 years have finally made her his wife!
The wedding was filled with lots of fun indeed! 15 bride’s maids were they to torture the groomens! And, the bridal car, a Porche, purchased just for the wedding at the price of 1.5mil and totally rocked the street up! The house? awweesommee!

This is another doctor n doctor couple…! After what we have seen earlier the Bollywood like video that was partly shot in Bali, but, this time, its totally a foreign like feel video, and the shots were all taken in Taiping-a small peaceful green town in Perak, Malaysia!
Emmanuel also known as Manni, and Ash first met me in my showroom a couple of months back and immediately booked us for their wedding!
In just a short period of time during our first meet, I started asking them lots of questions about themselves, and try to dig out most of the romantic parts of their love adventure! And, I have to say that Manni is really a romantic guy, though from the outward looks, it contradicts to that fact. Ash on the other hand, is a very passionate and loving person to Manni, thus, made them the perfect and ideal couple!
This video has somehow talked about the story of the couple, which they were just meant to be together at the end. They waited for each other, giving space to each other, time, chances, and on the 14th. of November, they made that choice, and a promise, to themselves and God, to bind and unite their hearts and souls as one!
This is also our first Music Video, with a trailer liked feel of a wedding highlights that we have been planning for a long time, a new concept that will be our next hit in 2010!
This exact video was premiered live in Cyberview Lodge, Cyberjaya, to some 500 guests, on the evening of 15th. November. Family and friends that attended this reception have come from as far as australia, New Zealand, UK, Mauritius, Singapore and Malaysia. And, have received a thunderous applause and a standing ovation!

Its indeed home for Ryan & Jade as they exchanged their vows in a beautifully set-up garden like wedding, on Halloween day! Ryan a chinese, raised in Canada, came all the way from KL to, Unesco Heritage City-Malacca, to marry her beloved wife, Jade, a ’straits borned’, also known as the peranakan or ’Baba Nyonya’, here in Puri Hotel!
The wedding ceremony was held at the garden area of Puri Hotel, where its known for their historical traditional heritage like interiors, have made the entire wedding even more beautiful & unique. After the solemnization, the couple then, had their traditional chinese tea ceremony in full Peranakan style and custom! Its our first such experience, to film a beautiful & colourful wedding, especially of the straits borned clan!
This is the highlights video of the wedding ceremony, a same day edit (SDE), and was premiered live during at dinner reception on the same of the wedding. They had their reception in one of Malacca best hotel-The Holiday Inn.
I had tried to upload this-one of our best ever produced video thus far online since that day after we have premiered it, but, just failed to do so, till now! Hope you guys enjoy watching it!

Pre-wedding photography and videography have been something very interesting for us ever since we came up with the concept of Capture & Discover last year! But, this year, we were given the opportunity to do a post wedding shoot…. its definitely our first… and doing it in Bali, have even made the experience a blastful one!
Pravin & Dharminy, a lovely doctor & doctor couple…who were married on the 1st. of November in KL, wanted to do something different for themselves and approached us bout this idea. And, without any hesitation, we immediately plan something out for them, and coming out with concept ideas and story.
We flew together with them to Bali for their honeymoon. We were practically video filming and photograhing their entire honeymoon. I have to say its totally a different feeling altogether doing a pre-wed, then a post wed! Its amazingly different! Its feels romantic, fun, love, and most importantly …memorable! Its definitely an extraordinary experience…and we are now, planning for more post wedding locations for couple who are interested to take this idea up! Here are some of the photos taken there! The Hari Raya Wedding! This is the highlights wedding of Puvan & Vanisha that was held on the 1st day of Hari raya in Slim River, Perak. Some 2000 guests attended this superbly grand wedding.
Here in this video, you may actually hear the parents of the bride-Vanisha, talking and sharing the story about their daughter and their wishes to her. We felt that we wanted to create something different this time, and wanna make this video more like a movie-like feel yet an emotional piece.
It was indeed a fun wedding to filmed, as we were filming alongside with Papparazzi-photography, and the decos were superb, and was done by Dreamworks.

This was another back to back wedding for us. We had earlier the Miri Wedding, and now this, the Island Wedding once again, in the heart of George Town… a UNESCO’s Heritage City, Penang!
Eng Jin & Pheh Shean had their chinese wedding-’Tea ceremony Session’ on the 3rd. Oct 2009, an auspicious day, in the chinese calendar-Mid Autumn Festival.
Eng Jin, met us here in Penang, back in April, as we were showcasing our videos in G Hotel, and immediately booked us to be their wedding videographer.
We met again at least 3 times to get to know each other better. They were not only hospitable towards our visits here in Penang prior to the wedding, but, indeed very welcoming! We were told repeatedly by Eng Jin, that whenever we visit Penang, a call to him is a MUST! And, that was what we exactly did, and from there, we became closer and got to know the couple better! Lots of planning, doing our research right, brainstorming within the team, video of this like will prevail.
We always believe in creating a video of the couple and for the couple… and this highlights video really potrait the couple happiness being with each other, the laughs, the smiles… the fun, the openess, and the love they have in them, for each other! They are just so full of love…another perfect match made in heaven!
This is the same day edit-SDE video of their wedding ceremony, that was presentation to some 450 guests who attended their wedding reception here in G Hotel, Gurney Drive.
The robotic dance/moves were like a trademark to the couple! Cos, after the premiering of this video at the reception, many were dancing the robotic moves…having a good laugh n fun. It was indeed a great night, and most importantly to us….something memorable, special & a uniquely different night!

Miri, a city in the Borneo island, our first wedding shoot there, was indeed an awesome experience for the GregsVideo team!
The groom, Vincent, a director in Shin Yang Group, and the bride, Joanie an IT expert, met each other while they were studying at Curtin University-Perth. From uni friends to lover, and now-a wedded husband and wife.
They were solemnised at the church near here in Miri, one of the largest city in the state of Sarawak-Malaysia, on the 29th. Sept 2009.
I met Joanie about a year ago, when she dropped by to our showroom for a preview of our work. And, the next thing I know, I was flown over to Miri, to meet the man himself-Vincent for a heart to heart chat on what we, the GregsVideo team can do for them on their special day, as Vincent could not meet me in KL with his tight schedule.
He took a day off on that day to personally meet me, and also for the 3 of us to get to know each other. I was toured around Miri, and were also brought around to some best local cuisine to dine. We chat and chat and chat, all about ideas and dreams that can be made, on their one and only wedding day…. something special, uniquely different, and most importantly memorable!
It was a great trip, as its my first trip there. I managed to get the whole imagination of the wedding, the places that I will be filming, and also, who the couple really are that we will be filming on that day! And, to describe about the couple-Vincent & Joanie, all i have to say is that-they are an awesome, sweet loving couple! I m just so glad that we did it for them! So glad!
